About the Author

Rebecca Yaker began sewing at age five. After eight years of designing apparel for two of America’s largest retailers, Rebecca started her own design business, creating one-of-a-kind baby and adult apparel and accessory items in her Minneapolis design studio.  She knits by hand and machine, sews, crochets, weaves, dabbles in reupholstery, consults on design, and most recently is passionately learning to become a cordwainer (a leather shoe maker). She is the co-author of One-Yard Wonders, Fabric-by-Fabric One-Yard Wonders, and Little One-Yard Wonders. Learn more about her at http://www.rebeccayaker.com.
