Maressa Brown

Maressa Brown is a Los Angeles–based journalist and astrologer who has written parenting, astrology, pop culture, and general lifestyle content for nearly two decades. She is a regular contributor to Parents magazine, resident astrologer for InStyle and Shape, and senior editor for Care.com. Her writing has also appeared in the Washington Post and on What to Expect digital, PopSugar.com, Horoscope.com, Astrology.com, and more. A graduate of Emerson College, Brown is a member of the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), the Authors Guild, and the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA). She is the author of Raising Baby by the Stars: A New Parent’s Guide to Astrology (Artisan 2023) and a forthcoming book from Workman.
